Spring

  • Bulbs in flower, primroses, polyanthus, violas, pansies, heathers, new season rose bushes, alpines and perennials , in season vegetable plants, strawberry and rhubarb plants, raspberry canes, gooseberry and currant bushes, fruit trees, herbs.
  • Mothers Day flower baskets, also spring flowering planted pots and hanging baskets.
  • Varieties of seed potatoes ,garlic, onion & shallot sets
  • From mid March to the end of April plug plants of summer bedding plants and a huge choice of basket and patio plants as plug plant or ready in pots. Plug plant prices for bedding plants start as low as 10p each and basket plug plants at 65p each.

Holwood Nursery is a ‘proper’ old fashioned plant centre. We don’t have soft furnishings and scented candles, but we do grow thousands of plants and offer you help and advice for your garden if needed.

Our Opening Times

September  to February we are open 5 days a week 10am to 4pm but closed on Wednesday and Thursday.

During the spring and mid summer period we are open 7 days a week.

Monday to Saturday 10.00am to 4.00pm Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm

Open Good Friday and Bank Holiday Monday's

We accept credit and debit cards.
